Walking the dog around the neighborhood when suddenly, on a neighbor’s porch:
p.s. Not sure I’ve ever seen one with rectangular headlights before.

Swear it looks like it’s enjoying life, basking in the sun like a lizard.

Very well put. Bringing a little quirky French joy to the suburbs, too.

The 2CV6, the more powerful (!!!)/ later version had the rectangular headlights. Nowadays most have been changed for the round ones as they are, well, better looking?
I’ve never seen the Charleston “livery” with orange!

That’s what I thought, it’s not a real Charleston, they were red, yellow, or grey

IIRC the Charlestons always had the round headlights as well. Anyway: amazing vehicles to drive!

Yes, they all had round headlights.
At first, it was a limited edition (8000 units), all were red, and the headlights were painted red.
Their huge success led to a bigger production, and later 3 different color choices. Those all had chrome headlights.
I like the cars, but I’m not a huge fan of how they drive, way to much body roll, and the shifter is weird.
